Head of Operations

Thrive is seeking a dynamic and proactive Head of Operations to lead, shape, and scale our day-to-day activities. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, resourceful, and deeply committed to growth and impact. You’ll work directly with the founding team to identify opportunities, build operational systems, manage key partnerships, and ensure that Thrive operates efficiently and effectively across all verticals.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee daily operations, ensuring all teams meet performance and operational goals.
2. Design and implement scalable processes for project and team management.
3. Identify strategic growth opportunities and work with leadership to pursue them.
4. Manage external relationships, partnerships, and vendor contracts.
5. Conduct market research and internal audits to drive efficiency and innovation.
6. Support strategic planning and execution across departments.
7. Coordinate recruitment, onboarding, and team development initiatives.

1. A strong eye for opportunity, efficiency, and process improvement.
2. Graduate of Law (LL.B.) from a recognized institution; preference for candidates called to the Nigerian Bar within the last 1–2 years.
3. Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and leadership skills.
4. Previous experience in a startup, NGO, or operations-heavy role is a plus.

5. Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
6. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with limited supervision.
7. Tech-savvy and able to leverage digital tools to streamline work.
